Produced by Guy Chambers, George De Angelis & Phil Thornally.

I was so lucky to collaborate on this album with such amazing writers/producers Guy Chambers, George de Angelis and Phil Thornally.

LOVE PARADE
George brought this epic track to me and from the moment I heard the dramatically beautiful introduction I knew I wanted to work with him and so began a long working relationship and friendship between us. Love Parade is a very ‘theatrical’ pop song and George is amazing at arranging unusual dynamic backing vocals. Hope you love it as much as me.

GOD WATCH OVER YOU
Written by Paddy McAloon  I heard this as a bare demo Paddy singing it with a keyboard playing and I loved the lyrics and was so excited about being the first performer to release it. Also my children Eliza and Nat briefly appear on this track their little child voices whispering God Watch Over You

LOSE YOUR ILLUSIONS
I co-wrote this with Guy Chambers it was supposed to be a B side but Virgin Records loved it so much they brought Guy in to produce most of the Album.

I met Guy when I was 15 at a summer jazz holiday school run by Cleo Laine and Johnny Dankworth. Guy was the most talented jazz pianist there. We kept in contact and I sang on some of his tracks when he was a student at Guildhall.

BLUE EYES
Written by the uber talented Billy Steinberg (he wrote Like a Virgin, True Colours and more!!!) I love Billy

FALLEN ANGEL
One of the first songs I ever wrote.  What a drama queen I am.

IF A WISH CAME TRUE
Penned with George.

INTOXICATING DREAM
By Guy… I begged him to let me sing it!

LONLEY SYMPHONY
George wrote this for the Eurovision and I think it’s the best Eurovision song ever written!

JENNIFERS GARDEN
I wrote this with my two Sallys in Camden town. Sally George and Sally Herbert.

FRAGILE GIRL
With the two Sallys in Camden again. I felt like a fragile girl at this time…in a house of shells. Shovel on the percussion with Sally Herbert’s gorgeous string quartet arrangement.

LOSE YOUR ILLUSIONS (REPRISE)
Guy wanted to do an orchestral version. His Dad organised the musicians and played on it too.
